The Registrars and Operations Team at Michigan Virtual Charter Academy (MVCA) makes sure your student’s information is accurate, secure, and up to date. We’re committed to making the record request process simple, clear, and stress-free for families, students, and schools. Whether your student is currently enrolled, has graduated, or previously attended MVCA, our team is happy to assist with record-related needs.
Transcript Requests
Transcript requests and enrollment verification are handled through Parchment, a secure online service that safely manages and shares academic records. All requests are processed in accordance with state and federal privacy laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
K–12 Student Records Requests
If a student in grades K–12 is transferring from Michigan Virtual Charter Academy, record requests should be submitted online through Scribbles. This secure system helps us protect student privacy and process requests efficiently.
For security reasons, we’re unable to accept record requests by email, fax, phone, or mail. Submitting your request through Scribbles is the fastest and most secure way to receive records.
MVCA provides a convenient and secure online system for K–12 districts to request student records. Requests submitted by email or fax cannot be accepted. Under the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), written consent from the parent/guardian/eligible student is not required to release educational records to officials of other schools or school systems in which the student seeks or intends to enroll. Written consent from the parent/guardian/eligible student is required when a request for student records involves non-school individuals, agencies, or institutions. All requests will be checked for accuracy, and any incomplete or inaccurate information may result in your record not being processed. You’ll receive updates and record delivery details by email.
